Desktop
Terminal
- Emulator: kitty - fast, feature-rich, GPU based terminal emulator

- Shell: ZSH, with a hand-crafted configuration; some bugs included. The configuration is extended by a few plugins, namely autosuggestions, completions, syntax-highlighting, vim-mode
- PIM:
- Editor: neovim sporting the light version of the Github NVIM Theme with quite some lazy loaded plugins
- File Manager: lf a simple terminal file manager similar to ranger-fm.
- RSS Reader: newsboat, an RSS/Atom feed reader for the text console.
- Multimedia:
- Music Player: cmus, a small, fast but yet powerful console music player
- Podcast Player: castero a TUI podcast client for the terminal
- Radio Player: pyradio a curses based internet radio player which utilizes mpv as the backend in my setup
- Mastodon: tut a TUI client for Mastodon with vim inspired keys.
- Tool Replacements: eza for ls, fd for find, ripgrep for grep, bottom for top, gopass for pass, git-delta for diff-highlight.
- Misc: cotp encrypted totp/hotp authenticator app, hblock block ads, tracking and malware domains via
/etc/hosts
